Last day I’m teaching art today and what a noisy day it has turned out to be.  We are making card windmills.

“We cut the card into an A5 square.  Drew two lines from corner to corner.  Then coloured in the other side with wax or kokki.  We cut the four lines until a 1 cm away from the middle.   Folded the left corners of the triangles to the centre and stuck a pin thought the corners, the back and the straw’s top end.  We folded the straw over and stuck the pin through that too.  It helps it spin better.  Then we bent the pin with a pair of long nose pliers.  Then we blew it and it worked!” says Alison
