What a lot of paint!
We are putting on The Wizard of Oz at school this August. Mrs K. is coordinating the costumes. Many thanks to all those parents who are sewing! We could not have done this without you. Mrs L. is coordinating the props. A place where I can help. These are definitely the largest things I have ever painted. It’s hard work! I plan to reap the rewards while watching the show from the side as I am the prompt. I aim not to stress about that yet. One thing at a time right? Another huge thanks to those teachers and parents helping us with the props. We value every minute of painting, glueing and sticking you put in!
So have a peek at the photos of us working this holiday. You can’t miss me!
Her theme was “childhood fantasy” and I dressed as a garden fairy. I loved it! I have never before worn kids wings.
When I was a child I would do weird and interesting things with my scarfs to make princes dresses and giant butterfly wings which I then flitted around the garden in. I was an only child for 10 years and to top that I am much a hermit – enjoy my own company – a lot.
