Making a Vuvuzela was the flavour of the season while the soccer world cup was on.

These paper mache’ vuvuzelas were able to make the sound too!

You will need the real vuvuzelas to start with as a mold.  Wrap the cling-wrap around them to prevent the newspaper from sticking.  Tear the news paper in strips and paste them around the cling-wrapped surface with cold glue (works best) or starch.  When this is dry, cut the form from tip to blow-hole with a craft knife.  Remove the the vuvuzela from inside and take out the cling-wrap.  Cover the cut with a layer of paste and news paper.  When this is dry, paint and decorate or pattern the vuvuzela.  Vwala! Hang these up or use them at a soccer game to please a crowd.
